Introduction:   During this Extraordinary Jubilee Year of Mercy, we would like to ponder more the mystery of God’s Mercy. This retreat will specifically focus on showing us how Our Heavenly Father has led various prominent individuals and groups of people in the history of salvation to prepare the world for the ultimate expression of His mercy in the coming of His Son Jesus Christ. The meeting is also to help us discover and experience Our Father’s love and mercy towards us in our own lives.
Retreat Agenda:
  •   8:30 AM - Arrival
  •   9:00 AM - Conference 1 (Speaker: Cort Peters)
  •   9:45 AM - Break
  • 10:00 AM - Conference 2 (Speaker: Cort Peters)
  • 10:45 AM - Break / Confession / Quiet Time
  • 11:15 AM - Holy Mass
  • 12:00 PM - Lunch
  •   1:00 PM - Discussion (Q&A)
  •   1:30 PM - End of retreat
Conference 1:   Our first discussion will include how Our Father shows his merciful love through two groups of people. The first group of people he names as his own through Abraham. The second group of people are the prophets of the Old Testament from Moses down to Malachi.
Conference 2:  The second discussion will focus on how Our Father shows his merciful love through two individuals. The first is John the Baptist who did more than set the stage for his cousin, the Christ. The second is the Father's love as expressed through the most-loving mother, Mary.
Group discussion:  Finally, through some group discussion, we will have an opportunity to understand better how God shows his merciful love in our own lives. We experience this excitement and hope during Advent so that Christ can be reborn in our lives in a personal way this Christmas.
